Climate Change

Climate change has occured through increases in temperature, sea level rises, and changes in rainfall. One of the major reasons of climate change is human activities such as agriculture, and using too much fossil fuels which lead to emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, and methane. In addition, deforestation, population growth, and increases in economic and consumption activities also exacerbate climate change.
Climate change has affected the world in some ways. The increase of temperature is known as global warming which can influence human lives negatively via sea level rises because of the melting of glaciers and sea ice. Sea level rises could deprive living space of people in low-lying islands and coastal regions. Moreover, the higher likelihood of heatwaves and intensive tropical storms is another consequence of climate change. Additionally, it could also reorder ecosystems in which some endangered species are confronted by extinction although others can survive in newly climatic conditions. Furthermore, climate change diminishes crop yields.

In spite of the fact that we are not assured of a definite termination of climate change, we have some possible solutions for mitigating it. An important solution is to intensify efficiency of energy exploitation. Humankind should reduce greenhouse gas emissions by declining the use of fossil fuels. Moreover, promoting the use of green energy sources such as wind power, solar power, biofuels, biodiesel, and others for the future of the world are other answers to resolution of climate change. In addition, reforestation should be expanded and then humankind should apply "carbon sequestration" schemes towards the elimination of carbon from the atmosphere. Such proposed actions can be possible solutions for solving climate change. However, it is crucial to be aware that countries over the world have to cooperate together to tackle climate change as a global panacea rather than individually local policies.
